GX PILLOWS EDITORIAL COPIES
A series of editorial layouts for both newspaper and magazine publications, promoting exclusive discounts on the brand’s patented comfort‑enhancing pillows. The campaign focused on sleep wellness and trusted testimonials, combining clean typography, balanced composition and persuasive visual hierarchy to communicate credibility and warmth. Each layout was crafted to align with print advertising standards while maintaining GX Pillows’ brand identity. The result was a cohesive set of editorial pieces that elevated the product’s story, blending commercial design with editorial storytelling to engage readers and drive conversions.

SILVR WELLNESS EDITORIAL COPIES
A series of editorial advertisements across newspaper and magazine formats to support the product launch of the newly reformulated Brain8 supplement - a wellness product designed to help combat brain fog, a topic that has gained significant attention in recent years. The campaign introduced the refreshed brand identity through clean, confident layouts and a calm, science‑led aesthetic. Each piece balanced visual storytelling with brand communication, using typography and imagery that conveyed clarity, focus and trust. The result was a cohesive editorial suite that positioned Brain8 as a credible, forward‑thinking solution.

GREEN EARTH UX/UI PROJECT
A full UX/UI experience for an eco‑friendly clothing brand built around sustainability, environmental awareness and aesthetically driven fashion. The goal was to create a digital presence that felt clean, responsible and modern, reflecting the brand’s commitment to ethical production while showcasing its visually appealing apparel. I produced structured wireframes, a scalable design system and complete screen designs for both mobile and desktop, ensuring consistency across breakpoints and touchpoints. The interface emphasised clarity, accessibility and storytelling, guiding users through the brand’s eco‑credentials, materials and product ranges with calm, nature‑inspired visuals.

ARCTIC TRAVELS UX/UI PROJECT
A full UX/UI travel experience for a ski‑specialist travel agency, combining clean visual design with structured product thinking. I carried out competitive analyses to understand how leading travel brands communicate adventure, safety and value, then developed detailed user personas to shape the needs of first‑time skiers, seasoned travellers and family holiday planners. From there, I produced clear wireframes, a scalable design system and complete mobile and desktop screen designs that balanced crisp, atmospheric visuals with intuitive booking flows. The final interface is modern, trustworthy and adventure‑driven, promoting skiing holidays through a user‑centred digital experience.

FUN HOUSE BRANDING
A vibrant branding and packaging system for a confectionery brand built around tasty flavours, bold colours and lively cartoon‑driven visuals. Inspired by classic fun fairs and carnivals, the identity blends nostalgic charm with modern illustration, using expressive characters, dynamic patterns and a high‑energy palette to capture the excitement of discovering new sweets. I developed a cohesive visual language across packaging assets, ensuring every touchpoint felt playful, collectible and instantly recognisable. The result is a joyful, flavour‑forward brand world that celebrates indulgence and imagination, turning each product into a miniature attraction within the Fun House universe.

I’m Doug, a multidisciplinary designer specialising in editorial design, UX/UI and brand‑led visual storytelling. My passion for design has shaped my life since childhood, evolving from illustration and games into a career creating clear, engaging and purposeful digital experiences.
After graduating with a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design, I built a diverse body of work across live briefs, commissions and commercial projects. My editorial role allowed me to apply my craft professionally, producing advertising and visual content for leading UK publications.
Completing a UX/UI bootcamp strengthened my product thinking, user‑centred approach and Figma expertise. Today, I combine visual clarity with structured UX processes to design intuitive interfaces, thoughtful journeys and systems that scale.
My specialisms include Editorial Design, Illustration, Branding, UX/UI, User Journeys, Wireframing, Brand Systems and Packaging, although my love for design knows no limits.
